About

About me

From a young age, I would often carry my camera around with me on day trips out and on family occasions to ensure that I remembered beautiful memories. As my creative eye developed, I would pay more and more attention to my surroundings. I quickly realised that with photography you have the power to freeze time and I feel this is becoming increasingly more important in our busy everyday lives of today. It was whilst finishing high school and college that I knew I would endeavour to pursue in this industry. Therefore, went onto further studying at Sheffield Hallam University to gain a wider skill set for my career. From here it was clear I had a determination to work in photography and have developed the tools to be successful.

My Work

Throughout my work, my desire is to take pictures to help people become more appreciative of the world. I use a range of subjects from flowers, nature, wildlife and landscapes, however my favourite is witnessing the unique relationships between animals I secure in my images. I also find macro photography fascinating as this really opens up the opportunity to use my artistic flare to discover hidden textures which are normally unseen by the naked eye.

My Equipment

Since my photography journey began, I have practiced using a range of different cameras, lens and other accessories which has given me the chance to experiment with a number of photography techniques.

I am currently using a Nixon 5600D with a variety of lens including:

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED-IF VR DX Zoom

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/4 E PF ED VR

Nikon 60mm f2.8 AF-D Macro
